Revelation Chapter 9

The fifth trumpet or the first woe is directed to Earth and the people on Earth that who are living at this time.

In this chapter we will see the method of operation or the deception and lies of satan as he uses the Churches. Remember, satan tempted Christ with scripture. This is a woe trumpet equal to the fifth seal.  If you take a look at religion in the world today, you will see many different faiths worshipping different gods.  People are all messed up and being confused by the traditions of man.  So keep this in mind as we go through the first woe, the fifth trumpet.

Let’s get right into God's word by asking a word of wisdom Father in Jesus name, Amen.

Rev9:1  And the fifth angel sounded, and I saw a star fall from heaven unto the earth: and to him was given the key of the bottomless pit.

star==This star is identified as satan {Lucifer}
 

Isaiah 14 identifies him as satan

Isa 14:12 How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! [how] art thou cut down to the ground, which didst

weaken the nations!
he weakens the Nations because when he is booted out of Heaven and almost all people in the World will follow him.

Isa 14:13 For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:

satan is given a key to the bottomless pit to free the ones who followed him in the 1'st earth age.
Pit==fre'-är  the pit of the abyss. a deep, immeasurable space, gulf, or cavity

Rev9:2    And he opened the bottomless pit; and there arose a smoke out of the pit, as the smoke of a great furnace; and the sun and the air were darkened by reason of the smoke of the pit.

Think of this pit as a holding place for satan and his evil buddies, because it is, as you will see. Satan is letting his followers out and dressing them up as messengers of God; Preachers to tell the world their boss is Jesus.

Everything is darkened by the filth of lies they will spread to people on Earth.
They were with him in the 1'st earth age when he fell from the grace of God because he wanted to be God.

Rev9:3   And there came out of the smoke locusts upon the earth: and unto them was given power, as the scorpions of the earth have power.

satan’s demonic followers are described as locusts by Christ to give us an idea of who they are and what they can do. You know the destruction a swarm of locusts can do. Well, satan’s followers will clear everything out as far as the true word of God, and spread filth, lies and deception to people on this earth.  The scorpion paralyzes its victims before devouring them, just as satan will paralyze people on earth who do not have the seal of God in their forehead, with his filthy lies and deceptions allowing him to devour or consume them with his falsehoods.

Again, these locusts, satan’s helpers, are preaching what satan wants them to teach or preach to people on Earth now. The book of Joel ch1 tells about the 3 stages of locusts as an example to us as to how satan’s army will work.

Joel also describes how the locusts army of satan will operate as shown next. This was fore told in the old Testament about 588B.C.

Joel 2:4  The appearance of them [is] as the appearance of horses; and as horsemen, so shall they run.
They will run to try to turn people to worship satan and the one world political and religious systems under control of the antichrist.

You can see the beginning stages of the one world system if you follow the news today with the health care overhaul that's under way by our Government right now.  The Euro is another start for the one World system and so on.

Joel 2:5  Like the noise of chariots on the tops of mountains shall they leap, like the noise of a flame of fire that devoureth the stubble, as a strong people set in battle array.

Dressed up like preachers who will spread satan's word with scripture.

Joel 2:6  Before their face the people shall be much pained: all faces shall gather blackness.

Joel 2:7  They shall run like mighty men; they shall climb the wall like men of war; and they shall march every one on his ways, and they shall not break their ranks:

To and fro all over the earth with discipline spreading the word of satan with scripture of the bible. satan's disciples.

The word discipline comes from the word disciple. Jesus Christ’s disciples.

Joel 2:8  Neither shall one thrust another; they shall walk every one in his path: and [when] they fall upon the sword, they shall not be wounded.

Joel 2:9  They shall run to and fro in the city; they shall run upon the wall, they shall climb up upon the houses; they shall enter in at the windows like a thief.

satan's army (locusts) will hunt to change everyone's mind who does not have the seal of God in their forehead.
God’s truth as stated in Rev.9:4 below.

Joel 2:10  The earth shall quake before them; the heavens shall tremble: the sun and the moon shall be dark, and the stars shall withdraw their shining:

Now think of the fifth seal, where we are not to premeditate what to say if delivered up to satan's councils, because the Holy Spirit will speak through us for all the world to hear.
We have power over them as written in Luke Ch10.

Luke 10:18   And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven.
Luke 10:19   Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

Luke 10:20   Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven.
Luke 10:21   In that hour Jesus rejoiced in spirit, and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes: even so, Father; for so it seemed good in thy sight.

Now let’s get back Revelation.

Rev9:4    And it was commanded them that they should not hurt the grass of the earth, neither any green thing, neither any tree; but only those men which have not the seal of God in their foreheads.

Now you know that the locusts in the last verse for sure are not locusts. They are not to hurt any green thing. Locusts naturally goes for the green.

The important part in this verse is who they cannot hurt or preach the deception and lies to. Wow!
but only those men which have not the seal of God in their foreheads.

So here we have those whose satan’s helpers can preach the lies to. This brings us back to why we are to have the seal of God (HIS truth) in our forehead, our minds; To stand against the fiery darts of satan.

Rev9:5    And to them it was given that they should not kill them, but that they should be tormented five months: and their torment was as the torment of a scorpion, when he striketh a man.     This is an important verse because it’s time for satan’s army to spread their deception and lies to those who do not have God’s truth in their minds.  This time has been shortened by our Father to a 5 month period instead of 3 1/2 years.  Satan’s locusts are so good at lying and deception that no person would make it beyond the 5 month period, not even God’s elect.

Matt24:22  And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.
The time of the locusts is a five month period normally May thru September. So God is giving us a time period as far as months here.

Rev9:6    And in those days shall men seek death, and shall not find it; and shall desire to die, and death shall flee from them.

When the people on this earth who do not have the seal of God in their minds realize what they are doing and who they are following they shall seek death. This was written when we went over the Seals, do you remember? The Seals we are to place in our minds and the trumpets are action.

Rev9:7   And the shapes (likeness) of the locusts were like unto horses prepared unto battle; and on their heads were as it were crowns like gold, and their faces were as the faces of men.
Take note the locusts were like horses prepared unto battle. When many horses are running the sound of them is loud. So they are going to be talking a lot. Talking garbage.
 

on their heads were as it were crowns like gold. Gold symbolizes purity, but in this case they will be very impure.

Satan’s army will act as if they are so godly spreading satan’s word. Remember how satan tempted Jesus in the wilderness after John the Baptist baptized Jesus?  Satan’s army will be exceedingly knowledgeable in scripture;  that is why God shortened the time to five months.
 

their faces were as the faces of men. Why? Because they are the 1/3 that followed satan in the first Earth Age.

Paul the Apostle told us about the same army who turned away from God in the first earth age. They are coming back as they did in the time of Noah, the reason God brought forth the flood.

Rom 1:24  Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:

Rom 1:25  Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.

Rev9:8    And they had hair as the hair of women, and their teeth were as the teeth of lions.

They look so pretty and dainty. How does a lion eat his food? The lion rips and tears his food, thrashing it back and forth.  This is the same way satan’s army will spread its lies, as they rip, tear and thrash falsehoods out of their mouths to the world.

Rev9:9   And they had breastplates, as it were breastplates of iron; and the sound of their wings was as the sound of chariots of many horses running to battle.
Breastplates wow. Priests wear breastplates. They are preaching to the world. Are fake teachers and preachers in this world today spreading their lies like the rapture theory?

the sound of their wings. Locusts in flight gives out a great sound with their wings. The supernatural men of satan will shout with the sound of their voices, preaching satan’s word not God’s.

2Cor11:13 For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ.
They disguise themselves into the apostles of Christ.
 

2Cor11:14 And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.

2Cor11:15 Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.

I wonder what they will be saying?  Do you have any idea?

Psa 2:1 Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing?
Why do also our leaders in Government rage imagine a vain thing?

Psa 2:2 The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed, [saying],
Our leaders in Government set themselves, and take counsel together against God the Father and His beloved son Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit by removing all three out of our vocabulary and want other gods to have their house in a place close to where three thousand people were murdered.

Psa 2:3 Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us.
Pull that voting handle and push the button to remove those that don't want anything to do with our Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Get them out of office.

Psa 2:4 He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision.
He will, and that day is near and Christians look forward to this day.

Psa 2:5 Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath, and vex them in his sore displeasure.
I would not want to be in their shoes on this day. Remember, we are nearing the end of the sixth seals.

Psa 2:6 Yet have I set my king upon my holy hill of Zion.
Jesus sits at the right hand of our God.

Psa 2:7 I will declare the decree: the LORD hath said unto me, Thou [art] my Son; this day have I begotten thee.
God's beloved son Jesus Christ.

Psa 2:8 Ask of me, and I shall give [thee] the heathen [for] thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth [for] thy possession.
Thank God that since 8/28 people all over the USA. are waking up to our Government and putting God first.

Psa 2:9 Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron; thou shalt dash them in pieces like a potter's vessel.
I guess you should feel sorrow for these people however, do they feel sorrow for our God of Heaven and Earth?

Psa 2:10 Be wise now therefore, O ye kings: be instructed, ye judges of the earth.
Wake up people in Government.

Psa 2:11 Serve the LORD with fear, and rejoice with trembling.
Christ is returning.

Psa 2:12 Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and ye perish [from] the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed [are] all they that put their trust in him.
Praise God in Jesus name for the Son will clean house more then us when we vote.

Rev9:10  And they had tails like unto scorpions, and there were stings in their tails: and their power was to hurt men five months. Again, they will be preaching and tormenting people who do not have the seal of God in their forehead. 

Did you ever hear of change?  Is this the time of the locust?  The problem is change what?  They don't even know what change they are talking about.

Remember the flood again in the time of Noah? Guess how long the waters prevailed upon the earth?
Yep! You got it. 150 days or a 5 month period.

Gen 7:23  And every living substance was destroyed which was upon the face of the ground, both man, and cattle, and the creeping things, and the fowl of the heaven; and they were destroyed from the earth: and Noah only remained [alive], and they that [were] with him in the ark.

Gen 7:24  And the waters prevailed upon the earth an hundred and fifty days

Rev9:11  And they had a king over them, which is the angel of the bottomless pit, whose name in the Hebrew tongue is Abaddon, but in the Greek tongue hath his name Apollyon.

Abaddōn in the Hebrew ä-bäd-dō'n is the name for satan meaning Abaddon = "destruction" ruin-destruction--the name of the angel-prince of the infernal regions, the minister of death and the author of havoc on the earth.

The Greek word for Apollyōn / ä-pol-lü'-ōn == "Destroyer"==the angel of the bottomless pit, the Destroyer

So here our Father is giving satan’s name in the Greek language and the Hebrew language so we know for a fact who Jesus is talking about; and that for sure is satan, who heads up this locust army of men to spread the gospel of satan.

He simply wants to be God and for everyone to worship him. Not to fear though, for satan’s soul is already condemned to death. His soul will go up in smoke from within forever and ever just as the people who will follow him. This is why the truth has to get out; Even if it is to help just one soul from perishing.

Rev9:12  One woe is past; and, behold, there come two woes more hereafter.

The end of the first woe to the people on this Earth.

The sixth Trumpet is the time of satan on Earth in Jerusalem.

Rev9:13   And the sixth angel sounded, and I heard a voice from the four horns of the golden altar which is before God,

John now hears a voice. Don’t forget about John because John is still in His spiritual body seeing these events.

horns of the golden altar  represent the power of God forewarning you what is next.

Rev9:14  Saying to the sixth angel which had the trumpet, Loose the four angels which are bound in the great river Euphrates.

The river Euphrates is connected with the judgment of the great day of our Lord. Also the Euphrates River always separated Israel from Babylon. God’s children and satan’s children. This is the same today, only spiritual.

The King of Babylon was a type of the antichrist for us to go by as an example from the Old Testament.
So what is the sixth trumpet? The arrival of satan and his followers to earth.

This is it! satan returns at the 6^th trumpet. Christ returns at the 7^th trumpet.

Jude tells us who returns with satan. men or entities who refused to be born of woman in flesh in this earth age. These same entities will return with satan along with his army that followed him in the first earth age.

These same entities were the cause of the flood in Noah’s time because they came to Earth to seduce women at that time to try and stop the seed line of Christ from being born.

As a result of this giants were born.

Gen 6:4  There were giants (giants, Nephilim- nef·ēl'== to throw or prostrate oneself, throw oneself upon-to lie prostrate, prostrate oneself) in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare [children] to them, the same [became] mighty men which [were] of old, men of renown.

Gen 6:5  And GOD saw that the wickedness of man [was] great in the earth, and [that] every imagination of the thoughts of his heart [was] only evil continually.

These giants, Nephilim numbered 7000 and will instantly go to the pit when Christ returns at the seventh trumpet.

Now for Jude

Jude1:4   For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ.

When these Nephilim mixed with women the children that were born were of gigantic size. Some of these giants were still around in King David’s time because David as a child struck one right between the eyes.

Jud 1:6  And the angels which kept not their first estate, (Heaven) but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day.
They came to earth to seduce women. They are going to come back again. This is why Christ told women to keep their head covered with Christ.
That’s why in this day and age you see women in other countries with their heads covered. Of course they don’t believe in Jesus for He said.

1Cr 11:10  For this cause ought the woman to have power on [her] head because of the angels.

Power on her head is having Jesus Christ over you; for He is your protection, not the wearing of garments on your head.

Again, the number of the giants, Nephilim numbered 7000 as you will see in the next study or two.

Jud 1:7  Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.

Strange flesh means men with men and woman with woman. Now you get the idea.
Sodom and Gomorrha are set forth for an example for us to go by.

I know this might be confusing to you, so I’ll just say, don’t be scorpion bait and don’t let satan rob you.

 
Now let’s get back to Revelation.

Rev9:15  And the four angels were loosed, which were prepared for an hour, and a day, and a month, and a year, for to slay the third part of men.

an hour, and a day, and a month, and a year means one particular moment of time appointed by God. Four is the number for earth. So this tells us this will happen on this earth. The return of satan.

Now don’t get excited because of the word “slay.”  Satan and his troops can only spiritually slay you if you do not have the seal of God. His truth. satan can kill you spiritually only because he is returning in peace to win the world of people over.

Rev9:16  And the number of the army of the horsemen were two hundred thousand thousand: and I heard the number of them.
This means an uncountable number of satan’s troops or forces. We know it is the one third who followed satan. How many is that?? A lot. Many of satan’s army is on the earth now, as they were born of woman in this end generation for God’s plan to come to pass.

This is why there is so much hatred in the world. Democrats and Republicans so far apart, Removing God out of our schools, Families killing each other, not knowing what God to worship, Immigration differences,

Letting leaders from other countries come to America and disgrace our president, groups in the middle east hating the world blowing themselves up along with children and anyone who does not believe in their god, judges letting child sex offenders off with a light sentence.

In general, the world is a mess and it is simple to figure out what is going on.

Good vs. evil as written in God’s word, the Bible.

Rev9:17  And thus I saw the horses in the vision, and them that sat on them, having breastplates of fire, and of jacinth, (dark purple) and brimstone: and the heads of the horses were as the heads of lions; and out of their mouths issued fire and smoke and brimstone.

The smoke hides. So this is telling us simply that satan will hide the truth of God and spread his gospel. Lies and deception.

and out of their mouths issued fire and smoke.

Now what comes out of your mouth? Sound, voice, you talk with your mouth. In this case false religions and false truths from satan and his army will come out of their mouths.
and brimstone. Everything satan says and touches turns to ashes or brimstone.

Rev9:18  By these three was the third part of men killed, by the fire, and by the smoke, and by the brimstone, which issued out of their mouths.
By these three. What three? Fire, smoke, and brimstone, simple deception and lies. False fire and False truth.  Satan will say things like, “I am Christ”, and many will believe it. In this verse it says in plain words out of their mouths.
 

Don’t forget, men killed, is only spiritually not physically. Remember Ch9:5.

Rev 9:5  And to them it was given that they should not kill them, but that they should be tormented five months: and their torment [was] as the torment of a scorpion, when he striketh a man.

Just think; One third of God’s children will follow satan in this one moment in time. How sad.  This is the time satan will hold the biggest church revival ever with his demonic evil spirits.  This is why we are to know who returns first.  Whoever does not know this will fall into satan’s church and will be in danger come judgment day. Again, one third of mankind will think he is Jesus and follow him.

Remember, satan will set up his throne in Jerusalem, Israel.

Rev9:19  For their power is in their mouth, (speech-lies-deception) and in their tails: for their tails were like unto serpents, and had heads; and with them they do hurt.

Yes they will hurt the people who do not have God’s truth. The way of the scorpion of the poison that comes from their mouth. Poison of lies.

Paul told us about he that preaches another gospel.

2Cr 11:4  For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or [if] ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with [him].

Do you think teachers, preachers, and people all over the world preach and teach other than God’s word? They sure do. How about the evil people in the Middle East that only want their god worshipped around the world? If you don’t believe in their god they will bomb you or cut your head off.

Satan will come disguised as an angel of light and so will his followers.

The problem is, that satan is of darkness.   Christ is the light of the world.

Rev9:20  And the rest of the men which were not killed by these plagues yet repented not of the works of their hands, that they should not worship devils, and idols of gold, and silver, and brass, and stone, and of wood: which neither can see, nor hear, nor walk:   
 these plagues. The fire, brimstone, and smoke. The lies that can kill your soul.
 repented not.  Why didn’t the people repent of their works?  Because the teachers and preachers did not tell them that satan comes first.  Neither did they want to learn for themselves.

They did not know God’s Word, so they still continued doing satan’s work by continuing to live by the ways of this world and worshipping the materials things in it.  These people on this earth will be deceived simply by not knowing God’s word, The Living word of Jesus Christ.
 

They are still in their flesh bodies at this time worshipping their idols of
gold, and silver, and brass, and stone, and of wood.
In other words they worship the things that cannot save their soul.

Rev9:21  Neither repented they of their murders, nor of their sorceries, nor of their fornication, nor of their thefts.

their murders- These people who believe satan is Christ will deliver their children, brother, friend, or whoever up to satan’s councils, those who do not believe satan is Jesus.  The people that know the truth will be delivered up to satan’s councils as written in Mark 13:9-12.

The unlearned people turned them in to satan because they believe satan is Jesus.   They think they are helping their relatives and friends, when in fact, they are delivering them up.

their sorceries –witchcraft, the deception
 

nor of their fornication,--Kept worshipping satan.
Why would this be? Why didn’t the people repent of their doings?
Because these people on earth at this time think it is Jesus Christ, The true Christ. So sad; this is why the message has to get out because time is short. Jesus will not return till after the tribulation of satan or satan’s return.
